Church of St Andrew, Oddington
Archaeology isn't always about glamorous projects or the bones (possibly) of famous people.
Sometimes it is just a matter of keeping an eye on some building work in case anything of interest turns up.
Thus on a couple of cold February afternoons Graham attended on some new drainage work in the churchyard at Oddington - St Andrew's is a small but lovely medieval establishment, much 'restored' in the 19th century. Nothing of interest was found in the trench, though a small amount of human bone was found. Not really surprising in a village graveyard. We don't think any of the bones are royal ...
